Sacra Via Releases Smoke Signals

Sacra Via’s much anticipated debut album Smoke Signals will be released on Saturday, October 1. Created by Marietta natives, this album is everything we have come to expect from this group of amazingly talented musicians. Band members Justin Arthur, James Perrine, Dean Johnson, and Trentity Morehouse put their hearts and souls into the debut release, which contains a selection of expertly arranged tracks that will leave you wanting more. The band has an innovative sound that is entirely their own and this album showcases their ability to create music that appeals to all types of music lovers. All 14 songs on the album are original creations, including crowd favorites ‘Lunacy’ and ‘Noise’.

A year in the making, the album will first be available to the public at the band’s album release party at The Field in Newport, Ohio. Tickets to the event are $10 and doors open at 6 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m. with an acoustic set by Shawn Smitley. Sacra Via takes the stage at 9 p.m. Anyone who has ever seen the band perform live knows that they put on a great show and with the added excitement about the album there is sure to been an amazing energy at The Field. The show’s venue allows for plenty of space for camping. Also, anyone who chooses to camp will have the option of eating a free home-cooked breakfast the morning after the show.

Smoke Signals will be available for purchase online at iTunes, Amazon.com, and CDbaby.com, but will also be available in disc form at future live performances, which is the best way to show your support for the band.

As for the immediate future, Sacra Via will perform on October 8 for the American Legion’s Chili Cook-Off in Beverly Ohio at 10 p.m. Sacra Via (along with Chemical Valley and In Another Life) will also open for the nationally touring group Taproot on November 10 at the Marietta Brewing Company.
